Patchwork Pals -
It's our class theme. The name of our group. A part of our identity. This week we read about Elmer the Patchwork Elephant. He is different than all the others, and at first this bothers him. But by the end of the story, everyone is celebrating their differences.
In our class, we value one another. We are all different, just like squares on a patchwork quilt. But some things are the same, and everyone matters. A patchwork quilt is more fun with a variety of colors, anyway!
